Self-Portraits as Ancestral Karma is an investigation/exploration of my own personal narrative through the eyes of family and how being a part of family has affected me. What has come before me has definitely effected me, like it or not. Self-portraits as Ancestral Karma carry an awareness that 'family' does not always have to be the way it is. This body of work is meant to be entwined with Family Portraits, like two sides of the same coin.
